The farm obtained its organic certification in 1992.

The making of organic products was a challenge initiated by Omero, and now his daughter Giusy is taking things forward. The key word is craftsmanship. Favoring the cultivation of native varieties the family is responsible for every stage of production: from harvesting by hand grapes and olives, to leading tastings in the cantina or around the world. Moretti Omero aims to produce the very best local wines and true extra virgin olive. 

Decanter Awards 2020 gives to Montefalco Sagrantino DOCG 2016 97 points. This wine is in the top 50 of the world wines, and in the top 8 of Italian wines
