Blend: 100% Sagrantino grape

From the grape and vineyard of the same name, there is the birth of Sagrantino passito DOCG. The characteristic of this wine is the fact that the grape is let whiltering for 2 months on some trellis. From here the name Passito. Then there is the fermentation of the must with the peels of grape. The wine, at the end of all this process, becomes very particular: it is, in fact, a sweet red wine but, however, it is still dry on its body, due to the tannins inside it.
Food pairings: meditation wine, aged cheese, candy buckkets, cookies, pies, dark chocolate.
Service Temperature: 12° C.
Indispensable perfecting: 37 months from the 1° of december. In the last 4 months the wine is put in the bottle.
