Blend: Sagrantino 10 - 25%, Sangiovese 60 - 80%, other licensed red grapes from 0% to 30%

As in other wine lands belonging to the Centro Italia, also in the Sagrantino land the wine Sangiovese is definetly very diffused.It is thanks to this kind of wine, indeed, that is born the Montefalco Rosso DOC: As a matter of fact, Sangiovese is the wine which is totally blend with the wonderful and well structured Sagrantino wine. Sagrantino, as kwown, is a local vineyard linked with other great varieties of black grapes present in the area of Montefalco, principally. Montefalco Rosso DOC is a very good wine, especially for what concerns its streght, body and personality. It is absolutely an elegant and charming wine, complex but totally enjoyable when tasted.
Food Parings: Structured First courses, stuffed pastas, roasted or grill meat, medium aged cheese, wild games, pizza, fish soups.
Service Temperature: 16° C.
Indispensable perfecting: 18 months from the 1° of november.
In the
RISERVA version: 30 months from the 1° of november. In the first 12 months, of the whole 30, the wine is put in a woodden barrel.
